3. How the documents fit together

  • The Terms of Service are the main contract. The Acceptable Use Policy, the Refund and Account Credit Policy and the Service Level Agreement are part of them.
  • If two documents conflict, the Terms of Service prevail, except that the Refund and Account Credit Policy prevails on refunds and account credit, and the Service Level Agreement prevails on availability and service credits.
  • The Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy are notices about how we handle personal data. They are not terms you agree to.
  • Related pages that explain our practices in more detail: Payment methods, Verification policy, Security and Transparency.
  • If we publish translations, the English version prevails where they differ, as far as the law allows.

VersionEffective dateChange
1.3October 4, 2026Terms of Service, Refund and Account Credit Policy and Service Level Agreement: new prices for servers ordered from this date (servers ordered earlier follow the “Price changes” clause of the Terms). Each plan’s monthly price is 500 times its hourly rate, so the monthly cap is reached after 500 hours. The cap applies per billing period, which is one month from the order date, not the calendar month, and starts again every period. A charge for part of an hour, such as a server’s first or last hour, is rounded to the nearest cent. The initial credit is prepaid credit, not a fee. Prices are in US dollars only; taxes are added to the invoice according to your country.
1.2October 3, 2026Terms of Service and Refund and Account Credit Policy: hourly charges are deducted in whole cents, and a full hour is charged at exactly the plan’s hourly rate. A server still never costs more than its plan’s monthly price in a billing month.
1.1October 3, 2026Terms of Service, Refund and Account Credit Policy and Service Level Agreement updated for hourly billing with a monthly cap: every server is billed per started hour and never more than its plan’s monthly price in a billing month; an initial credit per server; top-up invoices; suspension at zero balance and deletion 7 days later; no refunds of metered usage. Prepaid daily and monthly cycles, and the early-cancellation refunds that went with them, are withdrawn.
